Red Lavender Soap bars highlight not only the beauty of the fragrant lavender flower, but also organic ground turmeric root. Turmeric has many common uses and is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties (although we make no health claims). Lavender and turmeric together make for quite the luxurious soap.
All of our lavender comes from Purple Adobe Farm in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Nestled among gorgeous landscapes, the lavender peaks during the summer months. We often take drives over to the farm just to take in the beauty of the plants and incredible red rock cliffs around the area. Many artists have drawn inspiration from the Abiquiu region including famous Georgia O’Keeffe.

Wild Rose contains delicate pink rose petals that grow wild here in Taos. Each summer we go out to various spots to pluck the fresh petals. It becomes almost like a meditation, with the sun shining down and the hot summer breeze blowing by.
We use activated charcoal in our Wild Rose bars to color it black. Activated charcoal is known to be absorbing and remove impurities.
Our wild rose bar is our most popular bar for the face thanks to the activated charcoal found within. These soaps contain wild rose petals that we pick during the summer months. Oddly enough, we found that these roses turn bluish black when infused into our soap, so the charcoal not only accentuates that natural occurrence, but also makes it a great choice to help absorb oils, greases & makeup. The soap turns out a beautiful charcoal black hue and will rinse off easily as you wash.
